SCHOLARSHIP ALERT: CHEVRON/NNPC JV AWARDS SCHOLARSHIP TO 2015 SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES

This is to notify all candidates that were shortlisted and wrote the just concluded apptitude test that CHEVRON has sent out emails to all those that have been awarded the scholarship scheme. Below is an excerpt of an email sent to a candidate:


Dear Candidate,
  We are pleased to inform you that consequent upon your application to Chevron Nigeria Limited for a scholarship award and your performance at the aptitude test conducted by Dragnet Solutions Limited on 11th July 2015, you have been awarded a University Scholarship under the 2015/2016 NNPC/Chevron JV National Scholarship Awards. You are expected to remain a student of the course of study for which the scholarship was awarded as a condition. Although the scholarship award does not carry a bond that you must serve, the Company expects continued academic performance at an acceptable level and satisfactory conduct from you. By the offer of this scholarship, you are not expected to accept another scholarship from any other Oil and Gas producing company which is in a Joint Venture partnership with the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC).
It is also mandatory that you furnish us with regular progress reports on your performance at the end of each academic year via your profile on www.scholastica.ng as at when due. Failure to comply with this provision may delay the payment of your annual bursary and may ultimately lead to the withdrawal of the Scholarship. Your final graduating result on completion of your course should also be forwarded to us. You are also advised to open a bank account with Union Bank of Nigeria for your 2015 scholarship payment and furnish us with the bank account details via scholastica on or before the 30th of October, 2015.
 Please note the outlined bank account instructions below: i. Open a bank account with Union Bank of Nigeria on or before the 30th of October, 2015. ii. Request from the bank a confirmation document stating that the account is active and belongs to you. iii. Make a clear scanned copy of the bank account confirmation document iv. Log into your scholastica account v. Scroll to the Documents section and upload the Union bank account confirmation document vi. Scroll to the Bank Details section and enter your Union bank account details.
