15 Frequently Asked Questions on 2015/2016 FUTO Supplementary Admission Exercise

This is to inform the general public that the Federal University of Technology has begun the sale of 2015/2016 supplementary admission form and below is a comprehensive list of frequently asked questions(FAQ).


1. How much is the form?
Ans: #7,500

2. When is the closing date?
Ans: Midnight, 6th December, 2015.

3. Will I be able to register after the deadline?
Ans: NO, the portal will close after the deadline

4. How will I register?
Ans: Kindly click www.futoportal.org/supplementary to register.

5. I am still awaiting my WAEC/NECO result, can I stll apply?
Ans: NO, Candidates awaiting WAEC / NECO results should not apply as they will be screened out.

6. Will I check my eligibility status before registering?
Ans: YES, first, check if you are eligible before generating an invoice.

7. What should I use to login?
Ans: login to the application portal, using your JAMB Reg Nos as both Registration number and password.

8. If I am eligible, what next should I do?
Ans: proceed to generate an INVOICE and make sure you log out.

9. I have printed my INVOICE, where should I make payemnt?
Ans: Proceed to ANY BANK and make your payment using the Remitta RRR code diplayed on your printed invoice.

10. What is Remitta RRR code, is it a barcode?
Ans: No, It is a NINE (9) digit code boldly written on your printed invoice.

11. I mistakenly lost my printed invoice, can I still print another one or should i generate a new invoice?
Ans: No, don't generate a new invoice. Simply log on to your portal and click on reprint invoice. You can reprint your invoice as many times as you wan.

12. I can't access a bank, can I pay online?
Ans: Yes, the Remitta Platform makes the portal robust and gives candidates the luxury of staying at the comfort of their homes, without joining long queues at bank to fill, complete and submit application. you can make payment using your credit/debit cards directly from the portal.

13. I have made the payment, what next should I do?
Ans: After successful payment at the bank, kindly return to the application portal www.futoportal.org/supplementary  and login with your JAMB Reg no as both Registration number and password to complete and submit our supplementary application form.


14. Can I apply using my smartphone?
Ans: YES, But it is advisable to use a Computer system or better still visit a cyber cafe.

15. After Submitting my application, what next?
Ans: You will be notified in due course if you are admitted through supplementary admission.
